Alejandra Monroy is the Prevention Program Manager at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), where she leads education initiatives to protect children and support families. Her work is grounded in trauma-informed advocacy, with past roles at Safe Shores–D.C.’s Children’s Advocacy Center and CARECEN, where she supported immigrant families through education, housing, and prevention programming. Alejandra holds master’s degrees from Harvard and Georgetown and is committed to advancing child safety through culturally responsive, developmentally informed education.
