Their work in this role focuses on public education through helping members of the youth coalition publish content related to the sex trade and combatting the commercial sex industry. They have worked with members to create articles aiming to help connect the commercial sex industry with the harm it does to people—whether they are in the industry or impacted by the culture of commodification. Topics have included “sex work” ideology in academia and how the representation of the sex trade in media has affected queer youth, focusing on a specific intersection of the sex industry. Through this work, Jade hopes to support members of the youth coalition engage the public in survivor-centered dialogues about the commercial sex industry.
