Valentina Amate Perez

Valentina Amate Perez is a graduate of Yale University with a B.A. in Ethnicity, Race and Migration. As part of PACT’s Education Department, Valentina’s role as an Education Associate focuses on bringing our Y-ACT (Youth Against Child Trafficking) program to schools across NYC and beyond. As someone who grew up in NYC and comes from a first-gen, low-income and immigrant background, Valentina carries her passion for working with the communities she grew up around, as well as her experience working with children, throughout her work. Valentina is dedicated to fostering educational spaces where the safety, happiness, and support of youth are prioritized, and where they are given the opportunity to nurture and exert their own agency, voices, and creativity.
