Hannah Sward is the award-winning author of Strip: A Memoir. Strip, Swards first book, has received the attention of authors such as Nobel Prize winner, J.M. Coetzee, Melissa Broder, and NYT Bestselling novelist Caroline Leavitt who called Sward, “One of the most moving and honest memoir writers. So eloquent, so brave.” 

Sward has appeared on NBC CA Live for a segment in honor of National Recovery Month, C-SPAN BookTV in conversation with The Voices and Faces Project, and on dozens of podcasts and panels discussing the sex trade, trauma, addiction, and recovery. 

Hannah’s work has been widely published in the US, Canada, and the UK. Her most recent work has appeared in publications such as LA Times, The Korea Times, HuffPost, Recovery Today etc. 

Sward lives in Los Angeles where she is working on her next book.
