Founder and Acting Executive Director

Diamond Collective

Ashley Faison-Maddox is a nationally recognized leader in the fight against human trafficking. As the Founder and Acting Executive Director of Diamond Collective, she curates monthly restorative experiences that empower women who have been trafficked to rediscover confidence, community, and connection. A survivor herself, Ashley integrates lived experience with professional insight to disrupt cycles of exploitation and promote long-term healing.

She serves as a Commissioner on the Sacramento County Commission on the Status of Women and Girls and is the Regional Engagement Specialist for the West Coast at the Sex Trade Survivor Caucus, where her voice shapes survivor-centered policies at the state level. Her legislative advocacy includes championing Senate Bill 1414, aimed at holding buyers of minors accountable; Assembly Bill 2020, which helps law enforcement identify survivors; Assembly Bill 1375, supporting survivors in family court who have children with their traffickers; and Assembly Bill 379, the Survivor Support and Demand Reduction Act.

As a member of the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force and Subject Matter Expert in Human Trafficking with the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST), Ashley consults with law enforcement across California, equipping officers with trauma-informed tools to better recognize and respond to trafficking. Her work is powerfully informed and anchored in a vision for lasting change. When she’s not hosting restorative experiences, training, or advocating, she enjoys playing dominoes with her family and jump roping around the globe.
