Hilary Simon is a litigation partner at Kennedys, a global law firm, and the Practice Group Leader of the firm’s New York Defense Group. She is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and a survivor-advocate whose story has been featured in Vanity Fair, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, NBC News, NPR, Fox News, among other publications. She works with lawmakers, journalists and advocacy organizations to advance survivor-centered reform and accountability. She brings both legal and lived experience to the issue of the adultification of teenage girls and its role in enabling exploitation and institutional failure.
