Katelyn Semales is an attorney at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, currently serving as Counsel, CSAM Support. In her role, Katelyn supports survivors and their family members by working through various legal issues and assisting them in finding legal counsel that fit their needs. Katelyn works with attorneys across the country to help train and educate them on various restitution statutes and assist them with questions about representing survivors. Katelyn was previously an Assistant United States Attorney and a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Maryland, the Southern District of Georgia, and the Middle District of Georgia. In those positions she served in various roles, including as Human Trafficking Coordinator and Project Safe Childhood Coordinator.
