The Partnership to End Human Trafficking (PEHT)

Homer, MSW, LMSW is the Director of Clinical Services at The Partnership to End Human Trafficking (PEHT), where she leads clinical programming, housing operations, and the coordination of trauma-informed services for survivors of human trafficking. Her work centers on building sustainable, healing-centered systems, including agency-wide implementation of the Sanctuary Model to support both clients and staff.

Lera is a Licensed Master Social Worker and earned her Master of Social Work from Sacred Heart University. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Health Science (DHSc) at the University of Bridgeport, with a focus on healthcare leadership and systems transformation. She also holds a BA in Sociology from Columbia University, with concentrations in Critical Race Theory and Gender.

Lera was awarded a HRSA Impact Grant supporting the expansion of social work services in underserved communities, particularly for transitional-age youth. In addition to her clinical leadership, she serves as a Member-at-Large on the NASW Connecticut Chapter Board and as a Commissioner on the Social Services Commission for the City of Stamford, where she advances equity-focused policies related to housing, food access, and mental health.
