Marijke is a patient advocate, legislative activist, and investigative researcher dedicated to empowering vulnerable populations and driving systemic change. She has successfully advocated for the passage of two landmark laws—the Adult Survivors Act and the Epstein Files Transparency Act—while providing compassionate support to fellow survivors. With a background in legal administration, investigative journalism support, and survivor advocacy, she combines research expertise with a commitment to amplifying marginalized voices and advancing public policy. Marijke is a graduate student at the University of Washington.
