Rebecca Zipkin is an attorney and advocate at Sanctuary for Families, where she works with survivors of gender based violence. In addition, Ms. Zipkin works on anti-trafficking policy and advocacy for Sanctuary for Families, advocating for state and federal anti-trafficking legislation. In this role, Ms. Zipkin organized a successful campaign to pass the “End Child Sex Trafficking” act in NY state.
Prior to joining Sanctuary for Families, she was an Assistant District Attorney, prosecuting sex crimes and sex trafficking cases in New York City. Ms. Zipkin has been featured in Lenny Letter, City and State, InStyle Magazine, NBC’S Today Show, and WNYC radio for her anti-trafficking policy work and has been named a New Abolitionist.
