ACG Advocacy

Sarah Kohn is a Junior Partner at ACG Advocacy, where she leads client strategy and execution across the federal policy landscape. She advises a diverse portfolio of clients on intellectual property, artificial intelligence, technology, housing, appropriations, and public interest, engaging directly with congressional offices, committees, and federal agencies to advance bipartisan policy priorities at the highest levels of government.

A trusted strategist and client advisor, Sarah guides organizations from policy concept development through legislative enactment, translating complex issues into actionable advocacy campaigns. Among other successes, she has helped secure passage of major bipartisan legislation, including the Holocaust Expropriated Art Recovery (HEAR) Act in the 119th Congress and the Stop Institutional Child Abuse (SICAA) Act in the 118th Congress.

Sarah joined ACG as a Research Associate and rose rapidly through the ranks, becoming the youngest Director of Policy in the firm’s history. In that role, she oversaw the research team and expanded the firm’s analytical capabilities before advancing to Junior Partner, where she now sets firm-wide strategy, leads key client relationships, and directs complex, high-stakes advocacy efforts across Congress and federal agencies.

A sought-after voice on AI, intellectual property, and federal policy, Sarah speaks regularly at leading forums, including IPWatchdog, UC Berkeley Haas, the Stanford IP Executive Program, the Licensing Executives Society International, the Copyright Alliance, the Congressional Problem Solvers Caucus, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

In 2025, Sarah was recognized as a Top Lobbyist by the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics (NILE), an honor awarded to 100 of the nation’s more than 50,000 registered lobbyists.

In addition to her work at ACG, Sarah serves as Deputy Executive Director of the AI Coalition for Data Integrity and as a Founding Officer of My Democracy Box, a nonprofit dedicated to civic education and engagement.

Sarah graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Law, History, & Society, with minors in Human & Organization Development and American Studies.
