Susanna Gibson is the founder of MyOwn Image, a nonprofit dedicated to combating technology-facilitated violence, image-based sexual abuse (IBSA), and disinformation. In 2023, Susanna was the Democratic nominee for Virginia’s 57th House District, where she became the target of a deeply personal attack involving the nonconsensual distribution of intimate recordings. Rather than step back, she turned her experience into advocacy.
