Terry Forliti is a survivor of sexual exploitation. She works diligently to offer hope, encouragement and empowerment through her testimony and direct services to those who experienced sex trafficking. 

As the former Chief Executive Officer of Breaking Free, Terry’s contributions include, developing an 18-unit permanent supportive housing program, the opening of a drop-in shelter that served over 200 survivors annually, and a Safe Harbor Shelter in collaboration with Minnesota Department of Health. Globally, she is a subject matter expert on the International Survivors of Trafficking Advisory Committee (ISTAC) for the Office of Democratic Institutions and Human Rights at the OSCE- the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe. The collective experiences of ISTAC are central to developing holistic, survivor-informed and solution-based interventions for survivors of trafficking worldwide.
